How to Size Your Occidental Leather Tool Belt
Don't use your pants waist size! Measure your belt as instructed below.
1 - The best way to get the right size is to measure the Tool Belt you currently wear exactly where you wear it and with the the work clothes you normally wear.
2 - Put the belt on where you would normally wear your tool belt and over your normal work clothes. Note which hole you use to fasten the belt.
3 - Take the belt off, lay it flat and measure from the end of the buckle to the hole you used.
That measurement is your belt size. Compare your measurement to our size chart below.
Tips:
✓ If you don’t have a tool belt, borrow one from a coworker (or you can use a cloth tape measure or length of rope).
✓ If you're between sizes, size up for the best fit.
✓ Do not use your pants waist size!!
✓ Remember, you wear your rig over your pants, regular belt, shirt, hoodie, etc. Size your belt for your work habits.
Our belts are designed to buckle at the midpoint hole, allowing 4" of adjustment in either direction for a secure and customizable fit.

Why not use pant size?
- Pants are made with materials that stretch to fit you. Our belts will form to you over time but are not "stretchy".
- Clothing sizes vary, so a 36” skinny jean fits differently from a 36” relaxed fit.
- Tool Belts are worn over your clothing; pants, regular belt, shirt, hoodie, etc.
- Tool belts usually need to be 3”-7” larger than your waist size, depending on how you wear them.

- We'll send you a tracking number by email once your order ships.

International Shipping:
Please note that our pricing does not include VAT, import tariffs and customs duties. These will be collected by the courier upon delivery. Customer is responsible for these fees and any return shipping/customs charges if the delivery is refused.
We're happy to accept returns on new, unused, and resalable items. Please try on your belt at home, before wearing it to the jobsite. We cannot accept returns on used, worn or tool scuffed products.
- Items must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition, along with a valid RGA (Returned Goods Authorization).
- Please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to request a return.
- Occidental is not responsible for shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges (unless it was our goof-up).
- Refunds can only be made back to the original form of payment on the order.
- A $25 restocking charge may be imposed on certain returns.

I have been waiting a long time to find just the right toolbelt and this is it. I do general home repairs and carpentry, siding, windows and doors and this tool belt holds everything i need for the day and is super comfortable around my waist with the wide premium wool belt and comfort suspenders, i hardly notice that I'm on average carrying 19 pounds of tools. Feels superior to any rig I've ever owned and expect it will last a long time. Those concerned about the price shouldn't be when a company puts so much thought into the design and workmanship for what working people really need. Thanks for a great product Occidental.

Great set of pouches. Im older and my back isn't great these days. But I can comfortably where them most of the day. My last set wouldn't stay on past first break.

It is beautiful but unfortunately don’t fit
I bought the tool belt as a gift to my son for him completing the four year apprenticeship program at the carpenters union in NYC. Being a carpenter forty plus years I am proud to give him a tool belt made by Occidental Leather, that I know will last him his entire carreer. The workmenship to make this tool belt was very robust and of the highest quality. functionality of it with the over sized large pockets will come in very handy. the individual pocket for specific tools are position in the correct location, making it very easy to reach for the tools needed. looks like it was made by carpenters for carpenters.

Everything is exactly how I want it. Lots of room in the pouches. Nothing falls out. The pouches stay where I want them to on my belt. Super comfortable and easy to work.
Only thing I don’t like is the tape holder didn’t have an option to be on the left side.
These are great bags. My last pair of lasted seven years before purchasing a new one, on top of that they delivered within a week.
Bags are great. Not being able to take the back brace off is the only downfalll. Should be removeable.
Best product in its class hands down!
When you wear these to the job sight all the trades do a double take and say I'm gonna get a set.
