All About the Working Man's Pant Belt (V2)

A classic, rebuilt for the long haul.
The updated Working Man’s Pant Belt V2 replaces our original 5008 with refined craftsmanship and expanded color options. Cut from 9–10 oz Latigo leather, edge-stitched, and fitted with a heavy-duty 1½″ stainless steel roller buckle — this is the everyday belt built the Occidental way.

Available in Oxy Red, Black, Brown, and Chestnut.
Made in the USA.

Leather Gear Care

Our leather is custom-tanned to handle tough, outdoor conditions. However, tough gear still deserves smart upkeep.

  • Brush off jobsite grit daily, and wipe down with a damp rag when things get muddy.
  • Occasionally shake out the debris from inside bags and pouches.
  • For deeper grime, use mild soap and water—no bleach, no harsh solvents. Then let it dry naturally.
  • For occasional cleaning maintenance—about once a year—use saddle soap, a leather cleaner, or mild soap and warm water. Then apply a small amount of non-oil-based leather conditioner. We recommend our Rugged Service Cream.
  • Store dry, out of direct sun, and your Occidental Leather gear will outlast the job.

* Avoid oil-based products, as they can weaken stitching and shorten the life of the leather.

* Always wipe off mud, concrete, or other drying compounds with a damp cloth before it dries, as these materials can draw out the leather’s natural oils

  • All orders ship from our workshop in northern California within 1-2 working days after you place your order.
  • We'll send you a tracking number by email once your order ships.

International Shipping:

Please note that our pricing does not include VAT, import tariffs and customs duties. These will be collected by the courier upon delivery. Customer is responsible for these fees and any return shipping/customs charges if the delivery is refused.

We're happy to accept returns on new, unused, and resalable items. Please try on your belt at home, before wearing it to the jobsite. We cannot accept returns on used, worn or tool scuffed products.

  • Items must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition, along with a valid RGA (Returned Goods Authorization).
  • Please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to request a return.
  • Occidental is not responsible for shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges (unless it was our goof-up).
  • Refunds can only be made back to the original form of payment on the order.
  • A $25 restocking charge may be imposed on certain returns.

Exchanges: To exchange an order, return your item for a refund following the procedures listed above. Then purchase the new/exchange item(s) at your convenience. If you need help with the new/exchange order, let us know. We are happy to help.

Bought my first piece of Occidental sometime back 91-92… when they advertised in real printed magazines. 😱 Yes that makes me a dinosaur! Still using that tool belt…😬

Bad service to return belt

Bad service to return the product and pay for the shipping again and wait three days to authorize it. I prefer to fix it and compare this product again

You reached out Thursday evening and again Friday evening. We responded Friday morning and then again on Monday morning. Our customer service hours are Monday - Friday, so we’re closed on weekends, perhaps that's what made it feel long to you?
For size exchanges, customers do cover the return shipping back to us, and we cover the shipping cost to send the replacement out.

Very high quality like all occidental products, but it does run a little large, i fall within the XL measurements on the website but I will have to add holes as I was instantly on the last hole when I put it on
