How to Size Your Occidental Leather Tool Belt
Don't use your pants waist size! Measure your belt as instructed below.
1 - The best way to get the right size is to measure the Tool Belt you currently wear exactly where you wear it and with the the work clothes you normally wear.
2 - Put the belt on where you would normally wear your tool belt and over your normal work clothes. Note which hole you use to fasten the belt.
3 - Take the belt off, lay it flat and measure from the end of the buckle to the hole you used.
That measurement is your belt size. Compare your measurement to our size chart below.
Tips:
✓ If you don’t have a tool belt, borrow one from a coworker (or you can use a cloth tape measure or length of rope).
✓ If you're between sizes, size up for the best fit.
✓ Do not use your pants waist size!!
✓ Remember, you wear your rig over your pants, regular belt, shirt, hoodie, etc. Size your belt for your work habits.
Our belts are designed to buckle at the midpoint hole, allowing 4" of adjustment in either direction for a secure and customizable fit.

Why not use pant size?
- Pants are made with materials that stretch to fit you. Our belts will form to you over time but are not "stretchy".
- Clothing sizes vary, so a 36” skinny jean fits differently from a 36” relaxed fit.
- Tool Belts are worn over your clothing; pants, regular belt, shirt, hoodie, etc.
- Tool belts usually need to be 3”-7” larger than your waist size, depending on how you wear them.

Please note that our pricing does not include VAT, import tariffs and customs duties. These will be collected by the courier upon delivery. Customer is responsible for these fees and any return shipping/customs charges if the delivery is refused.
We're happy to accept returns on new, unused, and resalable items. Please try on your belt at home, before wearing it to the jobsite. We cannot accept returns on used, worn or tool scuffed products.
- Items must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition, along with a valid RGA (Returned Goods Authorization).
- Please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to request a return.
- Occidental is not responsible for shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges (unless it was our goof-up).
- Refunds can only be made back to the original form of payment on the order.
- A $25 restocking charge may be imposed on certain returns.

I would like for my gear to stay nice longer, so I like when it's easy enough to clean. Heat index was well over 100 and I didn't have to worry about the belt contributing to any sort of heat rash. Big, wide, sturdy, keeps your gear in one place. I haven't riveted or clipped any of my bags in place. The friction of the leather on leather, and the webbing in between sections of belt keeps everything in place as soon as I unclip.
Can easily drop the belt without tool pouches falling off.

I’m a window cleaner and the window cleaning industry doesn’t build a good belt. This one has been a game changer! Absolutely the best belt for my trade.
I recommend buying the comfort belt with the framer bags. I spend a lot of my work days going up and down stairs/ scaffolding so having all my tools with me is a must. Buying the comfort belt allows me to hook my shoulder strap suspenders which puts the weight of my bags on my shoulder verses my back and hips. Love the quality from occidental leather.

First of all, this belt looks good. You gotta look good on the job and this will definitely make you look like you know what you’re doing. That’s really all that matters. Jk. The fit is great and I like the built in D rings since I am a suspender guy. I am using this set up with the black fatlip bags and I can’t say enough good things about the fit and comfort. I’ve used everything Occidental has for hip pads except for the newer beefed up belt supports they have now, which look awesome but I chose the Proformance belt because it looked more flexible and manageable for my immediate needs. My bags sit in perfect position and don’t move around my belt due to the positioning of the belt loops my 2” leather belt is fed through on the support pad. The support is just the right amount of padding without being to stiff, and sits perfectly on my lower back, semi high on the hips. Occidental never disappoints and are the kings of the construction bag world. They are expensive, but these are made for the real professional tradesmen who know what quality is. If you decide to invest in a quality set of bags by Occidental, you’re probably a true craftsman who cares about his work, his name, and delivers quality production and solid results. These aren’t for the hackers or the half assers. Keep up the great work fellas. There is nothing that comes close to Occidental.
Game changer
Wearing bags all day they get heavy, with this belt it distributes that weight a little nicer and keeps the weight off the hips. It was a great purchase for me and if you also have some hip and back pain this belt is for you
This is a great design and the combination of nylon and leather that I have been hoping for. The only thing I am disappointed about is the quality of this new black leather doesn't compare to the old red latigo that I have had on my old occidental belts and pouches. Seems like a different grade of leather and only time will tell if it will hold up as well. But, the belt pad seems tough and if the outer leather belt does fail, it could be replaced down the road.

Very comfortable, good quality like always!
I’ve worn many different belts to support my carpenter bags, but this combination of leather, wide padding and rings for suspenders is a game changer…I use the Occidental light suspender system which are lighter and far easier to adjust…it definitely is a back saver plus I can continue to use my Occidental Light bags while getting close to 65….
