Compatibility: If you are going to use suspenders with the 5191 - Pro Carpenter's 5 Bag Tool Belt Setup, you will need the DAK - Direct Attachment Kit to connect them.

International Shipping:

Please note that our pricing does not include VAT, import tariffs and customs duties. These will be collected by the courier upon delivery. Customer is responsible for these fees and any return shipping/customs charges if the delivery is refused.

We're happy to accept returns on new, unused, and resalable items. Please try on your belt at home, before wearing it to the jobsite. We cannot accept returns on used, worn or tool scuffed products.

  • Items must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition, along with a valid RGA (Returned Goods Authorization).
  • Please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to request a return.
  • Occidental is not responsible for shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges (unless it was our goof-up).
  • Refunds can only be made back to the original form of payment on the order.
  • A $25 restocking charge may be imposed on certain returns.

Exchanges: To exchange an order, return your item for a refund following the procedures listed above. Then purchase the new/exchange item(s) at your convenience. If you need help with the new/exchange order, let us know. We are happy to help.

I habe the framers set an switching switching the drywall set it is way better with all the pockets you need. Only downfall is no tape pocket

The cross hatch on the back could you use some padding like the shoulder scraps It’s kind of uncomfortable.
And it is bled red on the back of my shirts

They're great

They're great. They're a little uncomfortable at first but as soon as they break in I think they will be golden. I can see how the more expensive ones would be more comfortable but like any great leather product once they're broke in they'll be comfortable as shitake mushrooms

Comfortable and helpful

I have never used suspenders for my carpenter bags before as they transfer the load from hips to shoulders and increase the likelihood of lower back injury. After 39 years in my trade I have developed a hip problem unrelated to my work. The suspenders provide some relief. I will note that at 6' tall I have to use the shortest possible holes in the adjustment straps. It's hard to imagine them fitting someone shorter than me.

Fit is a challenge. I was going to return but there is a restock charge and freight so I am keeping them and doing some alterations.

Takes a while to break in but otherwise solid product that will last a long time. A bit tricky to adjust with the included buckles. Rating 4 stars since there is always room for improvement and I don't believe in perfection

Suspenders are great, takes the load off of my back & hips, much less sore at the end of the day. My only concern were the shoulder pads and back strap alignment piece. This may have broken in with use but after two days my shoulders were rubbed raw and the leather piece in the back would buckle and dig into my back. I purchased the Stronghold replacement pad and it made a world of difference. It’s possible the leather pads would have broken in but I didn’t want to wait.

I bought the standard size based on recommendation from OL but they are still a little big on me. They still need to break in but they are comfortable. Should have gotten the other size but was worried they be too small and not enough adjustment for wearing over cold weather gear. Still satisfied especially that I'm supporting an American made product and not child labor in China.
