The Clip-On Stronghold Essentials Gear Pocket (Model 8578) is designed for quick access and secure storage, attaching easily to the front of Occidental’s Stronghold® Suspenders with a rugged spring steel clip.

A padded smartphone sleeve with velcro flap keeps your device safe, while dedicated holders for pencils, a notepad, and driver bits make sure you’re always ready to mark, jot, or drive. Whether you're climbing ladders or moving fast, this compact chest rig keeps you light and organized.

Nylon Gear Care - Keep your nylon tool gear in top shape.

  • Brush off jobsite grit daily, wipe down with a damp cloth as needed, and let it air dry.
  • Occasionally shake out debris from the inside.
  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure and heavy chemical cleaners.
  • For stubborn grime, use mild soap and water.
  • Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Abrasions or Small Tears

Nylon webbing and trim are tough but not indestructible. If you notice abrasions or small tears, act early before they spread, especially in high-stress areas like seams, corners, and straps.

  • Make sure the area is clean and dry.
  • Seal it with nylon repair tape or a fabric patch, such as Tenacious Tape or Gear Aid. Super Glue works in a pinch on small areas.
  • For added strength, stitch over the area with heavy-duty thread.

Nylon Tool Bag Repair Policy

We don’t repair nylon tool bags. Once ballistic nylon tears or frays, it can’t be restitched to its original strength, and we don’t offer patching. We recommend replacing damaged components.

Fading

Nylon fabric can fade over time with sun exposure, and frequent direct sunlight speeds it up. Fading is not considered a defect.

  • All orders ship from our workshop in northern California within 1-2 working days after you place your order.
  • We'll send you a tracking number by email once your order ships.
  • Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method you choose. * Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

International Shipping:

Please note that our pricing does not include VAT, import tariffs and customs duties. These will be collected by the courier upon delivery. Customer is responsible for these fees and any return shipping/customs charges if the delivery is refused.

We're happy to accept returns on new, unused, and resalable items. Please try on your belt at home, before wearing it to the jobsite. We cannot accept returns on used, worn or tool scuffed products.

  • Items must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition, along with a valid RGA (Returned Goods Authorization).
  • Please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to request a return.
  • Occidental is not responsible for shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges (unless it was our goof-up).
  • Refunds can only be made back to the original form of payment on the order.
  • A $25 restocking charge may be imposed on certain returns.

Exchanges: To exchange an order, return your item for a refund following the procedures listed above. Then purchase the new/exchange item(s) at your convenience. If you need help with the new/exchange order, let us know. We are happy to help.
