All About the Clip-On High Mount Tape Holster

Clip-on, premium leather tape holster mounts high on your belt, keeping your tape secure and easy to reach. Fits up to a 2 inch belt featuring our proprietary steel belt clip. Made in the USA from heirloom-quality leather and built to last.

Three Sizes:
Medium: Fits standard 25' tapes (excluding FatMax).
Large: Fits 30' tapes or 25' FatMax.
Extra Large: Designed to fit the 35' FatMax.

Leather Gear Care

Our leather is custom-tanned to handle tough, outdoor conditions. However, tough gear still deserves smart upkeep.

  • Brush off jobsite grit daily, and wipe down with a damp rag when things get muddy.
  • Occasionally shake out the debris from inside bags and pouches.
  • For deeper grime, use mild soap and water—no bleach, no harsh solvents. Then let it dry naturally.
  • For occasional cleaning maintenance—about once a year—use saddle soap, a leather cleaner, or mild soap and warm water. Then apply a small amount of non-oil-based leather conditioner. We recommend our Rugged Service Cream.
  • Store dry, out of direct sun, and your Occidental Leather gear will outlast the job.

* Avoid oil-based products, as they can weaken stitching and shorten the life of the leather.

* Always wipe off mud, concrete, or other drying compounds with a damp cloth before it dries, as these materials can draw out the leather’s natural oils

  • All orders ship from our workshop in northern California within 1-2 working days after you place your order.
  • We'll send you a tracking number by email once your order ships.
  • Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method you choose. * Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

International Shipping:

Please note that our pricing does not include VAT, import tariffs and customs duties. These will be collected by the courier upon delivery. Customer is responsible for these fees and any return shipping/customs charges if the delivery is refused.

We're happy to accept returns on new, unused, and resalable items. Please try on your belt at home, before wearing it to the jobsite. We cannot accept returns on used, worn or tool scuffed products.

  • Items must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition, along with a valid RGA (Returned Goods Authorization).
  • Please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to request a return.
  • Occidental is not responsible for shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges (unless it was our goof-up).
  • Refunds can only be made back to the original form of payment on the order.
  • A $25 restocking charge may be imposed on certain returns.

Exchanges: To exchange an order, return your item for a refund following the procedures listed above. Then purchase the new/exchange item(s) at your convenience. If you need help with the new/exchange order, let us know. We are happy to help.

Great high quality product. Only complaint is I ordered a medium to fit a25ft tape as said it would. It only fits a16ft tape which is ok I use it for smaller jobs.

I purchased an Extra large clip on for my tape measure. Website says it fits a 35” Fatmax and it barely fit a 25” tape.

I love it and so does the ol' lady

I used to have a tape holder that I had to run a belt through.. the ol'lady hated it!! When she was lookin' to get work done.. it was an obstacle to production!!

Not only does the looks of this tape holder.. size up... it also puts the ol'lady in the workin' mood, annd.. it's also quickly detachable, so there are no delays in production!

Let me.. lay-this-out.. pretty clear: This tape holder increased production!

Fellas.. (and Ladies), if you're trying to reduce down time, increase production and GET SOME WORK DONE, make the.. measurable.. move, and buy this tape holder!
